Family FishingWhat does "family fishing" mean?
The phrase “family fishing” is a simple one. Take a bay boat such as the 24 foot long Yellowfin that Bamboo Charters operates. Now load your family up on the boat and go fishing. You need not be family really, four adults and Capt. Matt will fit with comfort on board.
Capt. Matt saw a need for a boat that could easily handle more than 2 anglers a typical flats skiff can take fishing. So back in 2001 he sold his cramped for space 18 foot flats and backcountry boat and bought a bay boat. No longer are you and your family/group forced to split up and take two boats out for a day on the water, now you can ALL fish from one boat in comfort.

You could end up stuffed on a 17 foot boat designed for 2 anglers and a captain. You won’t have enough space to relax and enjoy the day. Look for a boat with space to move around and fish in comfort. My 24 foot bay boat can handle 4 adults and myself with space to roam around. The bow of the boat has a huge casting deck and the main deck is very spacious. And you won’t be balanced on a cooler or standing for the boat ride. This boat has comfortable padded seating all around. It was designed and set up for all day comfort with groups in mind. I can fish mom, dad and the kids in safety and comfort all day. The boat is powered by a 275 hp Mercury Verado so we can get to the fishing very fast. We won’t be bogged down and limited to short runs as a result of slow speed.
Four adults wanting to go fishing meant that two boats had to be paid for. That’s a $1000 day, if you take Bamboo Charters out for a full day you pay only $750 for the same trip and you get to enjoy the day together. Oh yeah, you SAVE $250 for the day!
